Tim Blixseth and Edra Blixseth are the visionaries at the heart of Yellowstone Club. Tim achieved a high level of success in the timber business, and is co-founder of one of the country’s most respected lumber companies. Edra Blixseth was the operating partner of a successful hotel and restaurant company, as well as owner of seven other restaurants. Together Tim and Edra raised four children and have three grandchildren, all of whom have come to love Yellowstone Club.

 

DIETER HUCKESTEIN
President and Chief Executive Officer

Dieter Huckestein, president and chief executive officer – Yellowstone Club World (YCW), oversees all operations, sales, marketing and development of YCW, the world’s premier private club, providing its members access to an array of truly one-of-a-kind experiences in some of the most coveted destinations around the globe. Yellowstone Club World is a global extension of the Yellowstone Club in Big Sky, Montana, the world’s only private golf and ski community. Dieter, a 35-year veteran of the hospitality industry joins YCW from Hilton Hotels Corporation, one of the top three largest hospitality companies in the world, where he most recently served as chairman and chief executive officer – Conrad Hotels, the global, luxury brand in the Hilton Family of Hotels, and president – Hilton Global Alliance, responsible for all operational aspects of Hilton Hotels Corporation’s strategic alliance with Hilton International. Prior to his appointment with Conrad Hotels, Dieter served as executive vice president - Hilton Hotels Corporation, and president – owned and managed hotel operations from 1994 to 2004, where he was responsible for Hilton’s entire portfolio of approximately 400 owned and managed full service hotels, overseeing hotel operations that drive over $5 billion in revenues. Dieter is the 2006 President of the International Hotel & Restaurant Association (IH&RA) and previously served as the 2004 Chairman of the American Hotel & Lodging Association (AH&LA). The American Academy of Hospitality Sciences bestowed Dieter with its 2006 Lifetime Achievement Award. Dieter and his wife, Cecilia, have two grown sons, and when not globe-trotting for work, they enjoy leisurely weekend trips to experience the great outdoors and the exceptional local cuisine found at their destinations.

HANS WILLIAMSON
Vice President of Club Operations and General Manager

 

Hans Williamson joined the Yellowstone Club team in 2007 as Vice President of Procurement and Technology. In 2008, Hans was named Vice President of Club Operations and General Manager. Hans came to YC with an extensive background in hotel and restaurant procurement, where he most recently served as Senior Vice President, Operational Excellence with Levy Restaurants’ Global Group. Prior to joining Levy Restaurants, Hans started his career in hospitality management with Hilton Hotels Corporation in 1983. Throughout his 11-year career with Hilton, Hans served in various management positions, most notably, as the Director of Purchasing for the central region of the United States for a period of seven years. Hans graduated with a B.S. in Hotel Administration from Cornell University and earned a certificate in Purchasing Management from DePaul University. Hans enjoys cooking, fine wine, cycling and skiing. He and his wife, Kim, have two sons, Richard and Chris.

CHARLIE CALLANDER
Vice President of Sales and Marketing

Charlie joined the Yellowstone Club management team in 2001 after completing a 20 year commitment to the development, marketing, and selling of The Vintage Club in Indian Wells, California. The Vintage Club is a multiple golf course, high-end, private community which has become a landmark project, and has since been emulated by a number of similar developments around the country. His interest in being involved with what was clearly going to be another ground-breaking community – this one in the mountains instead of the desert – brought him to Yellowstone Club. Aside from his role as Vice President of Sales & Marketing, Charlie has been actively involved with many additional leadership roles including President of DreamCatcher Endowment, Inc. – Yellowstone Club’s charitable giving affiliate which is dedicated to raising funds and improving education and awareness to support local organizations that contribute to the overall well-being of the Big Sky Community and Southwest Montana. Charlie currently serves as President of YC’s Property Owners Association and the Architectural Review Committee, as well as the Club’s exclusive Broker. Under his direction, the Sales office and Marketing team recently exceeded one billion dollars in sales of YC property. Charlie and his wife, Melanie, have three children; in his spare time, Charlie enjoys golf, skiing, tennis, and cooking.

RON SPRINKLE
Vice President of Public Safety

Ron Sprinkle worked 31 years in several federal law enforcement agencies, retiring from the Secret Service as Assistant Special Agent in Charge of the Presidential Protective Division. During his career Ron served on the personal protection detail of every U.S. President since Ronald Reagan; was Detail Leader for First Lady Laura Bush; and accompanied Presidents worldwide. At other times in his federal career Ron worked as a Ranger in Yellowstone National Park and as Director of Law Enforcement for the Forest Service. Ron and his wife Sara live in Big Sky and have three grown children scattered across the country. Ron greatly enjoys hiking, camping and cross country skiing.
