At Yellowstone Club, even the most die-hard skiers will find the variety of off-slope activities to be hard to ignore.

Miles of cross-country skiing trails offer a classic Nordic adventure. For those interested in an entirely different mode of winter transportation, dog-sledding is a “must-try” experience for kids and parents alike. Also, fully-outfitted cross-country skiing and snowshoe trips are available for all experience levels.

Montana’s major rivers are open for fishing year around, so guided and unguided fly fishing trips to the world-renown Madison, Yellowstone, or Gallatin rivers are an option that may be surprising to those who’ve never tried winter angling. Throughout the winter there are sleigh ride dinners, special events like the Warren Miller Cup (a member/guest ski race), and parties in the evenings. The Concierge can make all the necessary arrangements for visits to Yellowstone Park, including guided Snowcoach tours through the nation’s original “winter wonderland,” for spectacular views of bison, elk, coyotes, eagles, and of course the steaming geysers and hot pots.

The kids can romp with our Youth Services staff during the day, or spend time at the Owl’s Nest or 20 Below (the teen center) in the evenings, all under the watchful eyes of the Club’s trained caregivers.

With all the options Yellowstone Club offers, winter is only as ‘peaceful’ as you want it to be!
